Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Langley Farm Team ran
roughshod over the seemingly hapless lifeless Burbank Tigers. The Langley

5 base hits. After an out was recorded, Derrek Lee initiated the scoring
spurt when he banged out a single. Mike Piazza struck out, unable to help
the rally. Jorge Cantu then doubled resulting in a run. Geoff Jenkins
followed and he tripled plating another run. Jolbert Cabrera stepped into
the box and delivered a base-hit scoring the final run of the inning.
Overall Langley out-hit Burbank 18 to 11.
Nate Robertson(9-11) was the winner allowing 2 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings.
